Al Qaeda taking credit for 'advanced' device

Authorities say Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab used a pair of underwear to smuggle explosives onto Northwest Flight 253 last week. The big worry is that it was never detected by airport security.

A federal report obtained by CNN says the 23-year-old Nigerian claims he got the bomb in Yemen, along with instructions on how to use it. A branch of al Qaeda in Yemen is now claiming it was behind the plot. Our Jeanne Meserve has the report.

I have been an avid listener of radio including short wave radio for the past fifty five yeears and never have I heard such hatred and right wing terror as I am hearing now from some of these right wing radio talk shows in markets like Washington and Detroit even.

You do not have to be a rocket scientist to know that something is seriously amiss with this picture.

I am very conservative in my thinking whether it is on crime or other social issues but I see a conspiracy here against the President which was not experienced during the last administration.

Something has to be done to rein in some of these racist right wingers on the raidio. Talking about terrorissm, they are the internal terrorists creating an element of hatred against the President on the white owned media and no one is holding them accountable.

Last night , I made my decision to speak out on this matter after listening to six different right wing talk shows and all of the hosts were giving slanted right wing commentary against this President. IS IT RACISM DRIVING THESE TALK SHOW HOSTS? STOP THEM STOP THEM!

I am sending off a letter to the communications department to finally monitor these right wing talk shows.

Their racist beliefs is under the cover of a right wing beliefs. This must stop. Where is the balance here.

How much is too much? How long are the President's supporters going to be kept out of the process? There will be a price to pay at some point for this unfairness if this continues.

Maybe, maybe not. Isn't all publicity supposed to be good publicity?
