Political open season: 31 House seats up for grabs in November

With a slew of lawmakers suddenly retiring, the mid-term elections could be the perfect storm for Republicans trying to make a bigger dent in the Democratic majority.

31 seats in the House will be up for grabs. 13 belong to Democrats and 18 to the GOP. But anti-incumbent sentiment is the real wild card and that's bad news for Democrats. Our Brianna Keilar is following the story for us.

I am reading the sign "Impeach Obama". I would like to know what high crimes or misdeamor has he committed. How can you suggest that the President, who is trying to right the wrongs of the past administration be impeached. Is it the fact that, like the Republicans, using harsh words to bring someone's character down accomplishes some kind of goal. Do you need affordable health care, a job, economic stability. The President is simply trying to do what he promised to do when he was elected. There is so much Republican hypocrisy that people can't or won't see the forest for the trees.

Ah CNN...surely you wouldn't twist any fact in favor of the liberals that you go to great lenghts to protect. If it wasn't for you where would we go to get a steady diet of the DNC daily talking points.

CNN is lying again. Cook, Ras., RCP, and Battleground says that far more than 31 House seats are up for competition. It is time for CNN to stop covering for the socialist pacifist Dems and realize that there might be as many 50-80 seats now competitive. The public needs to see how these thugs have bankrupted our economy and endangered our national security. Bayh went today, Reid and others will go in the Senate. Look to your own districts and vote out the tax and spend Dems and do it in your state legislatures too because in Blue States, guvs, state legs, and US reps are usually all Dems and your state is also bankrupt. Mich, and NY and Ill, and Ca. are perfect examples even with Arnold in Ca. blathering as a so called Pub.
