  • As the economy sours people are being forced to part with their gold jewelry to pay the bills. In some cases the pawn shop has given way to businesses advertising "Cash for Gold" on television.
  • President Obama praised San Francisco's first-of-its-kind universal health care program, Healthy San Francisco last week when the Mayor met with Obama. "Instead of just talking about health care, mayors like Gavin Newsom in San Francisco have been ensuring that those in need receive it," said President Obama.
  • HBO is defending its plans to depict a sacred Mormon temple ceremony in an upcoming episode of "Big Love."
  • After her warning last week to Rihanna "if he hits you once, he is going to hit you again" Oprah Winfrey is dedicating a whole hour to relationship violence and teen dating abuse. Clinical Psychologist Jeff Gardere reacts.
  • Ronnie Sue Ambrosino lost $1.6 million dollars in Bernie Madoff's Ponzi scheme - and since his scam collapsed in December, she and her husband have been forced to live in the RV they bought to travel the country in their retirement. Thursday, she got her chance to face the man who took everything from her in court. She'll tell us what she said, give her reaction to Madoff's guilty plea, and tell us what's next for her and her husband.
  • Craig Clasen fought with a 12ft tiger shark for nearly two hours when it tried to attack his friend, Ryan McInnis, during an underwater spear fishing expedition in Louisiana. He joins us live.
