American Morning viewers were on the war path for AIG executives’ heads. Questions continued from viewers who remained perplexed by the idea that the company is too big to fail:

- Michael – I find it hard to believe we don't know who these 70 plus people are. I can understand not finding Bin Laden, one person, but 70 + people???? Come on... this is not acceptable. If it's that hard, contact "Dog, The Bounty Hunter", I'll bet he could. What's being done to get their names besides having these hearings and asking these greedy, unpatriotic AIG Execs? Yea, unpatriotic, self-centered, scum. FIND These People and plaster their faces all over the news let the American people stand outside their home(s) and harass the hell out of them. Greedy bastards.
- Jean – Maybe it's just my stupidity, but someone needs to explain to me why the banks failed or are failing, if AIG who insures the mortgage backed securities, has not been allowed to fail. I thought that it was the mortgage backed securities that caused the banks downturn, but now I find out that these are insured – by AIG. AIG has not been allowed to fail, so I don't understand how the problem escalates if the Government has covered them.

- Jordon – Retirement give me a break!!! The stock markets will eventually bounce back so for many American far from retirement this is not an issue. If you are close to retirement I heard the statistic that the average 401k lost around 6k. If that broke your retirement then you have bigger problems!!! Let’s address the elephant in the room – the facade of funding our Medicare program. At this rate my retirement will go straight to paying Medicare!!!
- Jane – Taxpayers are angry and disgusted to hear what those extremely and shameless AIG CEOs did. At the same time, taxpayers have big fear for what happened. Why our government is always one step behind those greedy, shameless and immoral CEOs? All these news make me sick!!! If government had set clear rules before sent AIG a check of taxpayers’ money, it could have been prevented. Today we would not have to pay the extra money for this hearing! White House guy, work smarter is better than work harder! Government should be one step ahead of the greedy CEOs, not one step behind CEOs. If this was the case, we would not end in this economic crisis now!!!All these CEOs should go to the prison NOW!!!
- Bill – Well, I must say you explained the bonuses. But it seems you forgot one important thing and that is they’re still losing money. So it would seem that no one at AIG is doing their job. They should have been fired. As far as who added the loop hole in the contracts, it could have been anyone of the money grubbers. The gov’t and these big companies have their hands in each others pockets. And now they have them in ours.
- Lisa Burgard – I can't understand why the govt is so upset since they have known about these bonuses from the beginning and voted for the compensation rule with the WRONG date (Feb 11, 2009)!!!! Doesn't anyone know how to proof read or what
- Mark Duffaut – You guys have to be joking about AIG being to big to fail. I know that their are plenty of other insurance companies that will gladly pick up those policies. Look at what happened here in New Orleans when Allstate stop writing policies for home owners, other companies picked up that business.
- Sylvester Port – I am a taxpayer and they are using my money so i have the right to know the names of all the people who receive these bonuses. The names should be on tv until we the american citizens choose to remove their names off the air.
- Marian Wynn – I am wondering: Where were the "BAILOUTS" when the Cotton Mills, the Sewing Factories, and the Steel Mills were shut down?? We didn't do anything wrong to have all of our industry taken away. We received no retention bonuses or rewards for a job well done – only a pink slip. I know that none of these worshipers of Greed will ever comprehend what it means to lose their job, their home, their car. Since they own multiple homes and cars and have "retention bonuses" to get them through our hard times. I don't understand Obama's fixation with Geigner. Obama has inherited a horrible nightmare from bush and cheney. However, Geigner just does not inspire me with confidence at all. He is choosing people fro the same pool of failure that "caused" this catastrophe to "solve" this catastrophe. That is so wrong.
- bobsmom76@amFIX – No matter how creative people are – broke is still broke. You pay the bills that you didn't pay last month – first this month.
- TSFMarketingPR@amfix – I want to see some swift butt kickin' action taken on AIG! They r corp. thieves that r stealing dreams and livelihoods from us ALL!
- Joan_W@amFIX – Shame on CNN for putting a negative twist on the North Middleton, Penn bridge story. Surely journalists aren't that naive!
- RiverAnn@amFIX – My family has scarificed alot so we can afford to eat,pay the rent, utilities, car insurance,no doctors,no medicine
- ucyfir@amFIX – States should be allowed to borrow from Fed at .25% just like larger banks. SC governor shouldn't need to choose. state govs need $
