The young and the jobless
CNN's Jason Carroll reports on how young people are coping with a tough job market.
Here's the harsh reality.
Nearly 3.7 million young people are now out of work.
Before the recession hit there were not enough jobs to go around.
Now that we're in a recession the younger the worker the more likely that worker could get pushed out of the job market.

One place Americans can go for jobs is across the border and overseas where all of the American jobs have been sent since NAFTA was enacted by Bill Clinton!!!!!!
The economic downturn started the day the jobs went out of this country. Wake up folks, you better look at more than today and yesterday for the problems in this country.
Unemployment is going to be the norm in a few years. I sure hope people learn to live off the land again or people will be killing each other for food!!!! Oh that's right, now the Animal Rights groups will not allow that either, I mean living off the land. Gee I guess we will just have to let the animals work and feed us a while.
It is hard for the young to find jobs when their parents are losing theirs and standing beside them in the unemployment lines. Their parents with the work experience and the young just stepping into theirs and being restricted in taking those steps.
In a society and global community that is growing we should be expanding out in supply and demand yet we are cutting back on those jobs in the service of supplying our nations and global body.
The young were given games like Sim City and Sim World where they built up societies properly and when old enough to take their place in society they see the corruption to it all and work to distance themselves from it all. Can we blame them?
We do know where the blame lies do we not leaderships.
I understand their pain. I am 35 years old and have a PhD in engineering. I've been relocating across the country with my husband for the passed 5 years and so haven't been in one place long enough to find a job.
Now I am considered overqualified due to my education level and underqualified due to lack of continuous employment.
It's truly aweful and I am at my wits end about trying to make myself employable.
