Might I add....now with this bailout of "Toxic Assets"...Basically…we are buying the banks trash uncollectible debts and trying to sell them to fools….your gambling with taxpayers money…No…No….No Mas.
"The power the Treasury has needed for decades"....no ....we don't need more government....us American Taxpayers need less government because look what has happened with our tax money in 40 days....
No more money...No more Pork...amend the bills to remove illegal aliens from receiving Pork money....No toxic assets...leave the economy alone...it will fix itself ....No more spending until we are healthy enough..stop all wish and welfare lists. This administration spent another trillion dollars yesterday, printed a trillion last week..spent a trillion and a half in Feb and March on Pork...and wants to cram trillions more with the ridiculous budget that Pelosi wants passed and voted in one day next week. Do they want our first born?
Kiran, when you took over for Soledad, it was such a wonderful relief and a breath of fresh air. You reported things factually and to the point and lacked many of the annoying traits that made watching Soledad exhausting. As a faithful American Morning watcher, lateley it seems you have "picked up" some of her bad habits of talking over your guests and badgering them during the course of the interview. These were things that made me stop watching the first time and I hope you recognize this error and go no further down the road of what isn't good journalism but simply bad manners. Agreed, at times it would be necessary to strip past the bluff but don't let the need to get to the meat of the story be an excuse for bad manners. Just let these idiots talk and expose themselves...
Thanks Kiran, I would hate to have to "shut off" American Morning again.
Far from a power grab this is power the Treasury has needed for decades. You have misrepresented this effort by the Treasury to protect us from wall street excesses. Stop trying to be Fox News or you will lose what is left of your audience.
