Happening now on CNN's American Morning:
President Barack Obama holds a joint press conference with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
LONDON, England (CNN) - U.S. President Barack Obama and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown say the G-20 must agree tough new rules for the banking system to help lift the world out of recession.
Obama and Brown met for more than two hours in London Wednesday, the day before the G-20 summit begins.
At a press conference afterwards the pair pushed for a united front to tackle the economic crisis.
Obama thanked Brown for his leadership during the economic crisis, saying he had showed extraordinary energy setting the foundations for the G-20.
He reiterated yet again that the "special relationship" between the countries continued to be strong.

The headlines today should have read "Michelle Obama Caught in sting Operation". Hey, the Queen clearly made the first move. LOL
We as a people are not doing God's will. We care more for ourselves than we do others and this is why the world is in the position it is in from global recession to war and hatred towards others! We need to begin to help one another and not show hatred to each other! It is God's will that we as a people do all we can for others and not put ourselves first or better our own personal gain without helping others along the way! The world will never recover until we begin to show love in this manner!
I commend President Obama for his work and thoughts about the current economic situation. In my opinion, one question during the joint press conference could have been answered a different way. Let it be known that I am a huge Obama supporter, and I know he intentionally dodged the question of “Is the US responsible for the current economic crisis?” Instead of giving France power in negotiations, Obama referred to a quote from one of his law professors, stating “some are to blame, but all are responsible.” The truth is, we live in a country where the GDP of some of our individual states is larger than countries represented. Specifically, California’s GDP is comparable to that of France. With such a large portion of the world’s economy overseen by America’s leaders, how are we not in some way to blame?
I think their meeting and conference went well. I agree we will get through it. Optimism in the face of diversity is what we need. Along with a "go to man" USA is moving in the right direction. My only concern is over spending. If we can keep the government on an open dialogue. They will become more transparent over time. I am currently unemployed, I'm not receiving any government money. Nor do I have any healthcare. I will stay optimistic and positive will the economy rebounds.
