The Navy has the pirates where they want them. They are basically in check mate. they have no moves. They are up the creek no matter what they do.

Aziz. yes they were in international waters. most countries recognize 15 to 30 miles off shore as international. Also, the Maersk Alabama was taking food for hunger relief so I guess you are just as ridiculous as the pirates. They are not trying to get anything back. They are murderers and thieves.

There are Seals on the Bainbridge, and it's about time the United States let THEM "negotiate" with the pirates. President Obama ought to be ashamed of himself for letting this embarrassment continue.

Its ironic that the USS Bainbridge is negotiating this incident. Think back in US history to the 1820's when Pres. Monroe declared his doctrine and sent Commodore William Bainbridge to Tripoli to stop the barbary pirates from stopping US flag ships..... it made his reputation and the reason for 5 versions of USS Bainbridge.! Go navy!
