(CNN) - Overnight singing sensation Susan Boyle says she's overwhelmed by the attention coming her way through millions of views on YouTube.
"I'm gobsmacked, absolutely gobsmacked," she told CNN Friday morning. Watch her sing
The 47-year-old shocked and inspired the audience, judges and Web watchers after she powered through "I Dreamed a Dream" from the musical "Les Miserables" on the TV show "Britain's Got Talent."
A clip of Boyle's performance had more than 15 million views on YouTube by Friday, and the world's media have beaten a path to her door in Blackburn, West Lothian, Scotland.
"I'm enjoying every second of it," she said of her sudden fame, but said it won't change her.
"I wouldn't want to change myself too much, because that would make things a bit false," she told CNN's "American Morning." "I want people to see the real me, the real person."

Kiran – your interview went predictably awry because you don't adjust your speech to the person you're interviewing. You are used to speaking so quickly (reading as fast as you can), you don't realize speaking that quickly makes it difficult to understand you much of the time (you become 'white' noise). Consequently, it was no wonder that the Lady from Scotland couldn't understand you (over the airwaves, different dialect, etc.).
Please slow your speech for the listeners (John needs to do the same). I only watched this AM because the Ms. Boyle was to be on.
I enjoy watching & listening to Mr. Cooper, his speech is moderate, so I can catch most of what he's saying.
Susan you have reminded us what we were taught as children. To look inside a person, for there lies our beauty in our soul. Thank you for sharing your gift. So all can bask in your light, which shines from with in you. I feel privileged to have been able to hear you sing and looking forword to buying your first CD. Rode Island invites to proform your first singing engament in the U.S. Best of every thing to you.
Kiren, you showed such charm in the Susan Boyle interview. You are guilty, however, of LOADED questions and you speak s-o-0 fast,
I heard there was an age limit to be on American Idol. Did they change their criteria for eligibility?
I was so embarrassed when you asked Susan Boyle if she was going to have a complete makeover. Were you implying that she needed one? That was a very tacky question. Shame on you.
Susan is proof to all of us that you don't have to weigh 12 pouinds, dress in expensive cloths , and in some cases have surgery in order to succeed. We in Springfiellld, Missouri are very proud of her and wish her only the very best!!
I thought she said "God-smacked", guess that is because she has the voice of an angel.
She is so refreshing, it is nice to have something to smile about again in the world of grim news.
You Go Girl!
