Editor's Note: Wednesday’s American Morning audience felt Michael Jackson’s nurse, Cherilyn Lee, was not credible and was “trying to make headlines” for herself.
- Tracy: I am very up set that this nurse Cherilyn is trying to make headlines. Are we forgetting that Michael had tons of plastic surgery and was most likely given that drug? The reason why he ask for the medication is because he remembered it put him out while going under the knife. He probably did not realize how dangerous the drug was and just wanted that same experience. Stop making it seem like someone administered that drug while he was in his home. Unless, she was able to get a hold of the drug and gave it to him and is trying to clear her name. She did say she went to the emergency room, did she some how steal the medication and give it to him? Now that’s a story. I don't think that a respectable doctor would administer that drug while in the home, they are not stupid and they know the seriousness of the drug.
- David: I don't believe the nurse claiming MJ called her for drugs. Her story doesn't add up.
- Jeff: the nurse that came forward is lying she said in her first interview Michael asked her for the medicine and he would pay her and then in another interview she said he wanted her to more else find a another person to give him the medicine .she came forward because she feels guilty about something they better investigate this woman hard.

Governor Sanford’s recent admission of “crossing lines” with other women incensed many who believed he should be held to the same standards as he imposed on President Clinton and be impeached
- Christine: Let's hold Governor Sanford to the same standards to which he held former President Clinton. Sanford led the frenzy for Clinton to resign, and was a leader in the movement to Impeach, after Clinton had an extramarital activity. If it were a Democrat in South Carolina's Governor's office, he would already be undergoing the impeachment process. Do the same thing to Sanford, he deserves it.
- Lela […] John, there are not different levels of cheating! I heard Charlie Cook trying to explain different levels of cheating! A cheater is a cheater is a cheater! My sympathies go to Sanford's wife and children! I can't imagine my husband saying his mistress was his soul mate and he would try and fall back into love with me! I could never want my husband or anyone to trrrrryy and fall back in love with me! John I had said in the beginning this lady is probably not the first! I feel the same about Ensign also! I hope she will get a amicable divorce, and hope they try to make it as easy as possible on the children! I hope they do not use their kids as pawns! Cheating is a LOVE STORY for Republicans, and LURED AFFAIR for Democrats! Realllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy? Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
- Ann: The “I've spent the last five days crying in Argentina," said Sanford." is a comment I might welcome from a friend, or relative, or even a lover – if directed to me in an intimate, or counseling, climate. However, any Government power – President or Governor – that has an affair that interrupts the governance of his people – should resign. There are two separate issues here – they are intertwined – but clearly separate. Sanford's yearlong unfaithfulness to his wife and family, is not the public's or the legislature's concern in and of itself. However, the second point is that this affair bled out into the body of South Carolinians. An official that would abdicate his position, and run off to Argentina to be with his mistress, leaving the legislature, the people, and the First Family of South Carolina to speculate and wonder why he left with no itinerary, no method of reaching out to him, no definitive person in control – is, on one hand, immature and negligent; and on the other hand, unfaithful to the people he has sworn to serve. I do not want to be represented by anyone who would allow an affair to interfere with the carrying out of the office to which he has been elected. Sanford should resign with the little dignity he has intact. Moreover, he should allow South Carolina the same.
