There is so much negativity over President Obama's healthcare bill, mostly by rich republicans, I would like to put the following suggestion on the table for consideration: Since the elected officials in Washington enjoy a deluxe insurance coverage paid for by the taxpayers that they work for, and since some of those same taxpayers cannot afford any kind of health coverage; and since these senators and congressmen are sitting there, fat, rich, dumb and happy, let them give up their elite insurance coverage or else pay for it themselves – since they are well able to do so, and the money saved from the recovery of the insurance costs we pay for them, will reduce the "trillions of dollars" that they love to yell about. How 'bout that?
