Historic eclipse plunges Asia into darkness

The sun is covered by the moon during a total solar eclipse in the Indian city of Varanasi on July 22, 2009. The longest solar eclipse of the 21st century cast a shadow over much of Asia, plunging hundreds of millions into darkness across the giant land masses of India and China. I'm a former SOG sniper. I'm a trained person with every gun on earth. I was trained in safe handling, and when and how to use any weapon. I'm probably better trained then any police officer in the world as far as when to use force. I think as a resident of California, where it is tough to get a carry permit, for a good citizen, you only need to go to Compton, in LA, and see the thousands of 7.63 casings littering the streets, fired by gang members at each others, from the AK-47 assault rifles they have thousands of. These are NOT good citizens, and kill people randomly, at 10 rounds a SECOND from these guns. Every gangbanger has a 9 mm pistol in his belt. There is a real disparity on this point. A GOOD citizen , well-trained in firearms use, is a REAL deterrent to some clown who just sprays bullets all over, and kills randomly. I personally could stop this clown without a problem, with one shot. Well-trained, responsible citizens with concealed pistols levels the playing field, even in NYC, where criminals pack guns regularly, but the GOOD citizens are prevented from having a gun at all? This smacks of stupidity, at best. A well-trained gun user IS a deterrent to some crazy. I know I would be. I don't own a gun, but carry a legal knife with me, stun devices, and defense sprays, for both myself and my wife. These are good for most incidents, but then there's the nut case with an AK, or a semi-auto "9", and that non-lethal defense becomes negated. I won't carry a concealed gun, even though I could, probably. I don't see many situations in this little suburb I live in where one is necessary. But in a big city, like LA, or NYC, I see it real good. People against it ought to rethink their positions and realize that this is a world where criminals have guns, all they want, and good citizens are prevented in many places of protecting themselves.....gun vs gun is better then gun vs your sport shirt....sport shirt loses, EVERY TIME.......

Living in Democracy means that the will of the majority rules, then, how come over 60% of US population can't make the point across over 300 individuals in Washington? I'll tell you why, they choose to have no problem with people they see and play at the country club on weekends....

Make no mistake this has been a class war for the last 40 years. If we had all the tax money back from the war profitiers, the money would be here for health care. The working class people that are for the the current system don't seem to care about their less fortunate countrymen. They also must aprove of the tens of million's of dollars the CEO's get, and all the trips to resorts for the employees of these companies. If they don't believe that poor people don't work hard for their money they are just deluded. When I served our nation I served for everyone not just the 1%. I love my fellow countrymen and was quite willing to die for them in service to our country. When I see children living in poverty in the riches country in the world it breaks my heart. Our revolution was to get rid of rule of kings. The 1% in our country live like kings. Figure it out!
