Democrats divided on healthcare

President Obama is hitting the road again today with his push for health care reform. But on Capitol Hill, the plans are hitting several road blocks. Democrats are divided over rising costs and how to pay the bill.

One Senate democrat from Oregon, Ron Wyden is really catching heat from his own party because he wants to scrap the idea of a government-backed public option. Why?

Senator Wyden spoke with CNN’s John Roberts Wednesday to answer that.

The one thing that I have learned in life, is that you can only hide what is in your heart for so long. Just wait; what ever is in Sgt. Crowley’s heart will come out, for if he did it once he will do it again.
Most likely more than ever because if you get away with it one time you get bold:
And that is when you make the mistake.
What the President did was good the lesson was if we can get over ourselves as to who is right and who is wrong we might can learn that we all are just people, trying to have a good life.

    "unAmerican"? Wow just wow.

Last time I read the Constitution of the United States of America it spoke of "the people" helping the people, not lying to them, not misleading them and killing their children and family members to gain control over substance.

Not indebting this country to two other countries, so all it takes to topple us is to call in markers and we become dead in the water, Not a shot fired, not a missile launched.

Yes lets leave America the way it is now, fear riddled and brainwashed to believe the rest of the world wants to attack us. Lets leave America not to look after each other but walk over the person next to you and then scream as loud as one can "WE ARE A CHRISTIAN COUNTRY" Lets leave America as it is drowning in the fear tactics left by prior people so certain people with accents get treated like suspects of....well you can make it up as you go along.

If ever a country needed a hot line to a God it is this one. To become so arrogant and sure of its self and to have lost all its humanity, morals and respect in such a short span of time.

Such hate and anger over a President that is not trying to line his pockets but look out for each human being in the country of America.

Wow we need to just start burning those with a heart and spirit at the stake, maybe Jesus and God would admit you faster to heaven then, huh?

Shame on the people in this country that can only see their gains and ends and can not muster up any feelings for another human being in their own city, state or country!!

I see we have a new phobia and fear/hate to deal with here humanist/ humanism. Sometimes some people still do just shock me heart and soul and make me wonder just how quickly our flight to Hades is going to take. Bravo Ronald and Bernice you both confirm my worst fears on how fast and how soon we will arrive. Hope you two will enjoy the heat burns better than I will.

There should be no division! It is a bill that is along with many of his other plans ...just plain unAmerican! If he is American, he should start showing it ....anytime now! He seems to hate everything about America. Leave America just the way it is, and then WE NEED CHANGE. Vote out the democratic party! Look at the shameful things that they are doing to us!!!! Mr. Myers, truely, I agree with you! He needs to be treated for not only this, but for the racism that he seems to be spreading. He made that issue a horrible one! Shame on him!!

It is so nice to now have one person speaking for all the people Ronald Myers.

I was unaware I did not want this and even needed to vote on it. I will give you a hint though that may release me from your statement "is not what the people want"

You must be blessed to have health care and the money to pick your Doctor, where as there are millions of veterans and everyday people who do not have the money to get health care and see a Doctor when ever they want. They cannot even go to an ER because they get turned away. Reality sucks when you are not blessed with money and a health care.

It sucks even more when you have a health problem and the health service turns you away. You believe All of America is against this. You need to walk among the people who need help, who have no money to get health care, whose children and family have to suffer because they cannot get help or afford it. Then you need to sit and wonder "what if all of a sudden I lost all my money and assets and became like them, how would I be able to see a Doctor?" Answer: You wouldn't, you would become one of the many countless people that never got onto America's polls because they were sick or dying at home. Due to lack of money to pay for a way to see a Doctor or go to the ER.

If you cannot grasp or fathom the reason for the push of getting this passed, I would say I feel sorry for you. But you are covered, I feel for those that have nothing and need it now and will be left without for another year. Because of the Blue Dogs, Republicans, Americans who do not want to see the truth, Americans who are afraid they will lose something, Americans who have been so bottle fed fear they cannot think for themselves, Americans who just do not care for others in this country even if it means their death. Americans so selfish and rich they just want their break as per usual.

This President actually suffers from something called humanity, caring about the PEOPLE of the United States of America. Something our Founding Fathers did a long time ago but every American has cease to do or attempt to do in a very long time.

You just hold tight till Your Government run Medicare or Medicaid kicks in and you are safely covered then and all will be right in your world. But a tip, never speak for the rest of the people in the country unless you have all of their signatures and permission. I know you do not have mine.

Why can't the health reform matter be put on the ballot in 2010?
Someone in Washington forgot to ask the public what they might want. What O'Bama wants, is not what the prople want. I sure hope the O'Bama Governmet Plan covers, "Obsessive-Cumpulsive Disease:, as the President suffers from this..
