Here are the big stories on the agenda today:

  • Breaking news… Former President, Bill Clinton is on the ground in North Korea.  A source tells us he's there to negotiate the release of Laura Ling and Euna Lee, the two U.S. journalists detained back in March and sentenced to 12 years hard labor.  The worldwide resources of CNN are on alert to bring you every development out of the secret state.  And we’ll also ask the question, is this a slap in the face to his wife, the president’s current top diplomat?
  • Read his lips!  No tax hike for middle class Americans.  White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs trying to set the record straight, after President Obama's top economic advisers suggested a tax increase couldn't be ruled out as a way of cutting the budget deficit.
  • You have the clunker, but will the government have the cash??  The White House says the Senate must act quickly and approve another $2 billion to save the popular Cash for Clunkers program.  We’re also showing you what happens to that old gas guzzler after you trade it in.
  • Fur is flying. There's a new airline flying the friendly skies… one that caters to a very specific clientele. The name says it all: "Pet Airways.”  It offers coast-to-coast travel for cats and dogs only!  Our Carol Costello meets some of its “PAW-sengers.”

WOW! Bill does Hillary's job now!!! Why is she actually in office? Maybe to have "your enemies even closer"?? I think she was offered this position just to keep her under complete control! Come on Hillary!! Ditch these clowns! You were so much better all on your own!

Hopefully Mr. Clinton can get these two back. It would be a nice ending for these two who were stupid to put themselves in this position in the first place. Now we have the same thing in Iran.
I really don't wish any harm for these people but they sure are stupid to put themselves in such a situation.

i am glad someone is stepping up to take care of this matter! But! isnt this Hillary Clintons job! where is she at? and why are we as tax payers paying her salary if she is not doing her job! America is really going down the drain here, first with this health care reform and now suckering tax payers into giving them money for doing nothing

I think the Americans should stay away from countries like North Korea and Iran and other countries that doesn't have the freedom because these rulers believe that the Americans are ripe for the picking. If anyone can get these two journalist out Mr.Clinton can he still has what it takes, good luck.
