Pres. Obama under pressure on health care

This morning President Obama is on Martha's Vineyard for a week-long vacation. But there's no rest for the debate over health care reform.

A growing list of lawmakers are breaking with the White House over a so-called public option. That's a government-run health plan that would compete with private plans and supposedly drive down costs. CNN's Jim Acosta reports.

Mary Congress dosn't have to be in session to pass a bill. The last time I looked they had passed 94 bills in the back room that never made the news. Most comments about thehealthcare bill are true. The bill is a complete take over of all healthcare. Get up and read the bill yourself, it will change but I read the one that was posted and all it does it give the goverment complete control over our lives.

Strange how the dem party has no one that will not stand up to their god. They know health bill is a goverment take over, but lie to pass it. Looks like none of them have the guts or honesty to say no except the blue dogs. Thank god for them. The only thing needed is tort reform and allow companies to sell across state lines. There is no need to scrap the whole healthcare field. Obama and his felons and commies want to destroy this country, and doing a very good job of it. What part of "we do not have the money" don't they understand. What happens if the cap and trade passes, first every building in America will be under goverment control. Obama's energy police will walk in, tell you waht you have to put in your home, and fine you daily until it's done,if you refuse your house will be goverment propery and the energy police will kick you out.

A previous comment here says that the House passed a bill yesterday. This cannot be true since Congress is not in session. This is how these lies and all this misinformation is spread and no one on these blogs and comment sections does anything to stop the misinformation. And then to make matters worse, people on your talking head shows make outrageious statements and go unchallenged. I watched the woman this morning who was ranting about AARP and the Obama health care plan who was spewing so much misinformation, it wasn't even funny. She pretty much was allowed to spew this garbage almost unchallenged. This it dangerous and should not be happening. The truth needs to be told and these people who are often on TV don't have a clue. What is with that, CNN?

Move forward with health reform, if we stop now it will never happen. Our congressman do not represent the people from their states, instead they represent big buisness and the insurance industry. The insurance industry has discriminated against sick people and the hospitals has discriminated against sick and hurt people, that is why reform is needed. No more stall and scare tactics.

Months ago the white house disputed the C.B.O. for saying that there 10 trillion dollar estimate was wrong because Obama and friends figured it to be a seven trillion dollar debt. Over the weekend the white house admitted they were wrong and estimated a 9 trillion dollar debt. In 6 months they re-configured there mistake was 2 trillion dollars. These are the people CNN and misinformed and biased media are standing behind. This is not about race or death panels, this is about the out of controll incompitence. Remember the C.B.O. also said there estimate for health care reform is off by 300 billion dollars...

I wonder how the house could pass a bill when they are not in session. Sounds bogus to me.

HR1388 was passed yesterday: Obama funds 20M in tax payer dollars to immigate Hamas Refugees to US. Ticker tape on CNN but news didn't mention. Turning US into something we are all going to regret if this doesn't stop. A lot going behind closed doors and our backs!!

One word for health care reform: Let it be! The richly (not rich) insured will live and the unisnured and under-insured will die because they can't get the life-saving procedures that they need. Is this natural selection or ony the strong survive? Where is the death panel debate then?
