Have to agree, the firefighter is the real hero. He's the one who entered the building, pulled the child out and then strangely hands the child over to a stranger, which is a little strange, don't you think. CNN missed the truth again when it was clearly in front of their eyes. I guess they were too busy keeping that other eye on their buddy, president Obama. I'm surprised CNN doesn;t inform us every time this president goes to the bathroom to let us know he did no.2. Talk about worshipping.

What I don't understand is WHY the fireman handed that child over to someone HE didn't know. Wasn't he capable of climbing down the fire escape himself? Kind of risky to hand over kids in these days to perfect strangers and stand there watching them climb down the fire escape. Yes both should be commended for the rescue, however there should be an investigation as to why a child was handed over to a stranger like that.

Im sorry but isn't that a fireman coming out of that appartment. I do believe he should have some praise also. You act like this man worked alone, but you can see that the fireman in the background handed him that little boy,,Why do you forget to mention him? Give praise where praise is due. and Im glad that little boy is ok. But lets not forget the ones who risk their lives everyday.

I think the mainstream media is quite possibly some of the most inconsiderate group of people who, unfortunately have the bigest infulence on this nation. OK- so, this kid is saved by some random guy that just happens to be there to take the kid from the firefighter who risked HIS life IN the building to locate and evacuate the unresponsive child. BIG WHOOPY!!! These men and women firefighters risk their lives day in and day out and NEVER get any thanks...your idiodic news story is just more proof of this. How does that saying go "save one be a hero, save hundreds be a nurse, or firefighter, Dr., cop, or EMT????!!!!" You all need to get your head out of your asses and wake up. Just because some schmuck of a camera man caught the footage does NOT mean this man is a huge hero...You needed to have at least MENTIONED the firefighter who actually saved this child! WAY TO GO CNN!!

Do you people have any idea what that FIREFIGHTER had to do to make it to the 4th floor of that building carrying tools, and wearing full gear and SCBA, perform a search of the floor in blacked-out smoke conditions, find this lifeless child, and then find a means of egress. It's because of that FIREFIGHTER that boy is still alive today, and you can't even give him/her a full sentence of thanks or acknowledgement???
