War strategy in Afghanistan and President Obama's failed Olympic bid may have stolen the headlines last week, but beneath the surface the health care debate rages on.

Former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist has some strong opinions on the plan. He is also the author of a new book called, "A Heart to Serve."

Dr. Frist will be a guest on CNN's "American Morning" Tuesday.

What a letdown, and we thought you were a republican! What will be the REAL catastrophe if this bill goes through, will be the folks that will be paying for the next 10 years, and will be denied the medical attention they want and need because they're (not qualified) under Obamacare.

Banks:- if we all stopped using bank cards including credit cards, we wouldn't be paying the banks the huge interest rates that are putting a lot of people into bankruptcy. We, in fact would have more control over the banks. I have seen a lot of ads on TV about Bank of America lately, and not one of them has a ring of truth. They are trying to get your business, and once they have it, all promises go out the window.

lease remember that Dr Bill Frist owned and made his millions on HCA. One of the largest hospital conglomerates in the country. I would be unwilling to believe anything this man says.

The only thing Bill Frist has a heart to serve is the insurance and pharmaceutical companies that pay him. He and his party are directly responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands and bankruptcies of hundreds of thousands of hard working, decent Americans every year.

dr. bill frist's comment that we can not afford full coverage for every american but should have some sort of catastrophic coverage for all is an addmission that at the minimum the canadian system is adequate and effective. i'm an american expat in canada for 40 years and can vouch for the canadian health care system. a system for all, paid for in the most part by health effecting sin taxes, ie booze and tobacco

Obviously a person who subscribes to the Republican health care plan. Sell everything you own until you have to declare bankrupty, beg for charity, and if that's not enough die quickly so you don't cost me money.
