What a "snowe job" she gave on CNN. She talked forever, seemingly without taking a breath, and said exactly nothing. Your typical political flunkie. It just shows that ignorance isn't a disease that just one party has.

Once again this shows how screwed up our political system is. IF YOU BELEIVE that ANY subject would be good for the American People, but your "party" doesn't like it, then you are suppossed to put the interestes of the "people" in the trash & support the "party" whether right or wrong! And of course now we get the name calling. What a joke!

I am thankful Sen. Snowe voted for reform. The polarization of our politics has only been exceeded by the misinformation and lies broadcast at the American public by the healthcare industry and their Republican allies. We are the only rich, developed country in the world that has not figured out how to take care of most of our citizens with some form of universal healthcare. The American public has been systematically confused and fear-mongered into near paralysis by the greedy "Corporate Pirates" who have no shame in promoting the current system which leaves so many millions in the dust with no health care, bankruptcies, and shortened lives. Thanks to the misinformation, a majority of Americans fear a healthcare system like Canada's, which by international standards is far ahead of the United States' system in terms of health outcomes like longevity, and infant mortality–and at a cost 30% or more less than it costs here. It is mind blowing that the American public fears "Government run" healthcare in favor of continuing getting ripped off by Corporate Pirates who run the current system!
