What a beautiful picture of our wonderful first family! Their love and closeness shines through in this portrait, as it always does whenever you see them together. I am so proud to have them as our first family.

Obama is more of a celebrity and an actor than a President! He is a puppet of the Republic for their secret agenda for the world! Its all happening in front of your eyes..KILLYOURTV!!!

Thank you so much for taking the time for this portrait. May the Obama's send one to all the dead soldiers families, I'm sure it will bring them comfort to know one family in the USA is happy.

It is a very inspiring family, the image of love, dedication and success. The Bush family in its own way I must say was also very inspiring. But this one is better. Much better. They are making us proud of being Americans.

What a beautiful family. I admire the composition of this portrait: everyone is comfortable, close-and it is clear that our President is a family man! Cheers!

As a photographer myself, I would have expected something more creative from Annie Leibovitz. Sure it's a nice family snap. But any competent photographer could have taken it.

I see my comment is not being put through because I didn't just say beautiful portrait.

But is it not interesting that he is not having any connection with the rest of the family. Can we not have a discussion on the facts? Look at the picture, he has no personal connection with the family. Every other family member is connecting with another family but him.

The daughters are holding hand or resting hands on another parent, the mom is bonded with both her daughters and Obama is only holding hands with himself. It is an interesting study in body language.

It is a great picture except for that 'stupid' abstract painting behind them that was donated from Laura Bush....would you believe she paid $1M for it. That is discussing. It doesn't even fit the decor of the green room. I recently toured the White House and actually saw that picture.

It's nice to have a refined President in office. That's a beautiful first lady and two beautiful daughters.

Now, if only Barack would stop pushing his unamerican agenda down our throats everything would be just fine. His policies are terrible for America. I regret voting for him.

Great picture of a neat family! It's cool to see President Obama in the context of his #1 role as husband and father. I sincerely hope they continue to have great experiences throughout the term(s) in office and beyond.

Betty from Ohio, it's unfortunate that you didn't feel pride in America regardless of whether or not this family is in the White House. My sense of patriotic pride in America is unconditional to who the first family is. I get emotional every time I hear the Star Spangled Banner no matter who our President is and despite controversy. If you haven't visited Fort McHenry in Baltimore, MD I highly recommend the trip to assist you in your conditional patriotic pride.

Can't wait to find out how much this cost us. I would think if your going to spring for Annie Leibovitz you'd get something with a little more impact. Once again using a sledgehammer where tweezers would do just fine.
