Ginny, I disagree with you about Rush Limbaugh – Thank God someone tells it like it is – I am so happy we have watch dogs out there to keep us informed about all the crooked things taking place. If you dems don't want the truth about all the crooks in office, then find the truth out for yourselves – Come election time most of the dems are going to lose their jobs – Glory, I can't wait to see them out of office.

    @ Ginny

Excellent point! And as long as this country is as divided as it is, with people like Rush fueling the division, we will recover not only slower, but possibly not at all. The old statement:

    United we stand
    Divided we fall

Basically Republicans like Rush are Audacious and shooting themselves in the foot!

Right on target! I have experienced obtrude arguments with others that blog on to CNN over this topic... They use dogmatic conjecture to promote or brainwash the mass and I suspect they are CEOs of large corporations. They want to keep us in line like sheep.

Does anyone realize our constitutional is being skirted by the rich
and powerful and no one has balls to step up and stop this crap.
Civil War is closer than they think. The containment camps recently
built around the country are not for "Git" prisoners... they are for you
America...... we will have to stand together before all falls apart....
Get a handgun get some balls and let's go take care of " our" country.

As we watch every celebrity flash their new book in our faces,on TV, I don't understand, as do former colleagues I had in a major corporate Catholic health care system, why the large banks can get vaccine when I have 7 grandchildren that need 2 doses of the vaccine – do children now work at Goldman Sachs now – where is the trail of this ??!!- We would love to find it. Is no one appalled about leaving children in this "recession" unarmed from disease when they are already little petri dishes without enough money or food in this "great Land"? Are people so in the bubble of denial that we the people have become little stick people on the boards of CNN with young people aspiring to You Tube on a chart? Are we all suffering from being a statistic in order to be the new wave of killing people off so this generation can still wear their suits? I would love to find the trail of money that supports "anti health care " and understanding distribution of this vaccine. It is not in the politics I pray to God – this administration is fighting unbelievably for change. The answer is in greed – no matter what where you live, your title, or job title, or correspondent status – the question is how many good American people do you really want to kill off? It is obscene. This is still our planet and our children are not stick figures on a glib chart "explaining this recession". Take one of your stick figures and imagine your young child or grandchild being on the streets without enough food or warmth or shelter suffering from the potential effects of this virus and be happy that the bank emplyoyees have theirs. The one thing about nature, no book on the New York Times best seller list will ever save you from the lessons of nature-

I would have to say that the news media, especially Dr. Gupta have done a great job in trying to promote the various ways we as the "general public" can reduce the risk from H1N1. On the other hand, our government has FAILED in their ability to get the vaccine to our general population. They seem to have a lot of excuses for this debacle; i.e., the manufacturers not making enough and the general distribution not going as smoothly...etc. etc. They are able to get the vaccine to the prisons and to Wall Street businesses? Close similarity? This is while our young children and toddlers are very ill and dying? What happened to taking care of women and children first? Reading these comments from young mothers is heartbreaking. I know I am very worried about my grandson who is 2+ years. I think we have come to the point in society where it's all about numbers. The buck stops at the top and this is one of the deepest disappointment from our new administration. This should be the number one priority! Our local health department has had three dates canceled because the vaccine hasn't arrive....they are still waiting. People are frustrated and extremely worried. This is all while mothers and fathers are asked to keep their very sick children out of the emergency room until they have "life threatening" symptoms. That really isn't realistic. Imagine if this was your child?

My grandparents live only an hour and a half away, so we both live in TX, and I've found that the schools approach the H1N1 flu differently even if the ISD is only a few minutes from another ISD. Anyways, near my grandparents', they read in their small town newspaper that the schools in their area were giving mandatory shots. While where I live, in my school, they act as if the flu does not exist and a kid at my bus stop got swine flu. I have a great immune system, so I'm not that worried for myself. But I have a baby sister and an ill mother and if I somehow catch it from an unvaccinated kid at my school, couldn't I pass it on to my sis and mom?? Good thing my mom is scheduling an appt. for my sister tomorrow...you know, for a swine flu shot. It's not too much of an epidemic here, though. But that's no reason to let the school near Houston do absolutely nothing.

I would just like to say as a mother of two young children, ages 5 and 6, (that have been sick for two weeks now) that it completely repells me to hear state health officials say "emergency rooms are being unnecessarily strapped by children who don't actually need to be there." and "Most physicians don't test for the virus or prescribe medicine to healthy children who come in with flu-like symptoms." oh and my favorite "The children we are worried about are those who have influenza symptoms and chronic disease." and "Of the children who have died, two-thirds had underlying health conditions." So what about the children that do not have underlying or pre-existing conditions? The one-third of the chilren who have died? Lets just send them about there way because they have been healthy their whole lives. What a way to STOP this virus. Am I a genius or are some people just THAT self absorbed. What makes absolutely NO sense is in the beginning of this article, (headline – ER's Hustling to Keep Up with H1N1 Cases) it is stated that "Nate Wordell, 7, just feels lousy: swollen eyes, cough, high fever, stomach ache and he's dehydrated. Nate has H1N1." Sounds like seasonal flu like symptoms to me! Furthermore, how are people suppose to know when to take their child in and when not to? As a parent of course you are going to be worried, that's what parents do. Apparently it is overwhelming for the employees of the ER, nurses, physicians, but correct me if I'm wrong when I say that is your job, and that is what you signed up for. This is a pandemic, have a little patience and most importantly compassion. The majority of the people DO NOT want to even walk into the ER considering all of the infected people in there and also dread taking the time to go in there knowing in the back of their minds that nothing will be accomplished by doing so, but it is the worry and concern for their child that leaves them no choice. So walking in and out of the ER without even a single test done is even more mind boggling than I can express in words. There is such a huge fuss about H1N1 on every news cast, so many people dying, children at that. Taking it lightly does not seem like a reasonable option. In the town I live in there are over 180 students out of school sick. Keep in mind the population is not very big. Frantic mother maybe?...yes. Exaggerating on this topic...no.

As a frustrated , exhuasted and truely lost !!! practicing obstetrician / gynecologist , unable to help my patients because of all the chaos in distribution of H1N1 vaccine , i suggest some coverage on the lack of cooaporation of the system with physicians, lack of care and concern about our patients , the ones that you every night report dead or dying!!! . personally i have been dealing with an answering machine that is full and does not take massages or an extremely nasty and unhelpful individual unwilling to even answer a question on the time of arrival of the vaccine. when i call The board of health.. , I do not want to put my patients at risk for their sake of course and mine, to increase my liability more that it has been (100,000$ a year !!)!!!!!!!!!!! through all this our patients are suffering , they are always on the edge, There are enough reports in the litrature re effect of anxiety and pregnancy , so please just think what this disorganized system is doing to a pregnat woman who does not have access to the vaccine and is taking care of her toddler with Swine flu at home. I SAY NO MORE!!!!

How can you give credence to a hate-monger such as Rush Limbaugh. I don't care what he has to say about President Obama. It's a given he will never say anything good about a Democrat. He spreads hate and lies. I will not buy products from companies that sponsor his hate-mongering radio show.
