I work for medicaid..Each state has their own rules due to federal government guidelines but also states have input as to the guidelines they can impose. In the state of Florida anyone under the age of 65 has to meet the under 65,have small children or be disabled for 12 months or more in order to be eligible. Why does this state make it so hard for people. Sometimes by the time they get approved after jumping thru the hoops people die before they get approved .I hope they will chnage this.
