Obama has not the stomach nor intestinal fortitude to do what needs to be done. He is always busy campaigning for 2012 and wants all to think all is well. Take the gloves off Mr. President and do everything in your power, overtly and covertly, to rock these nit-wits world. I think Obama is far to un-respected and indecisive on the world stage and this emboldens our enemies. Obama lacks the necessary experience and is in far over his head.

I think we need to focus on the real issue and stop mother natures lightning attacks because chances are greater that i will be killed by that than a terrorist. Seriously ppl, GET A CLUE!!!

my son traveled into mexico this holiday season and upon his return to austin he shared with me that at the airport in chihuahua, travelers were not required to take off their shoes before going through the metal detector. i called john cornyn, my senator, and was told by the staff member who answered his phone that his office doesn't handle such matters and directed me to the TSA. so i called TSA and when prompted, selected "current security threat" and was on hold for 28 minutes before hanging up. i emailed the TSA and the White House but can't help but feel this info is sitting in someone's inbox unread. there must be more stories such as this one and it would be great if you would urge your viewers to email to CNN anything they saw that is a security threat and then you guys could send along the info to the head of TSA (ha). you guys might listen – senator cornyn's office didn't seem to.

Terrorism is a tactic – not an enemy. We need to stop being afraid of the boogie-man and face the real enemy. Our government in the name of security is stripping-away our freedom and privacy. We need to stop listening to the color-coded lies and focus on restoring the privacy and freedom that allowed this country to be great. We need to stop spending tens of billions of dollars stripping people of their freedom and dignity.

CNN does a good job on reporting current news reference al qaeda's threat to the security of the west and possible terrorist attacks by then or their supporters. I feel too much press is given to their activites without qualifing them as the misguided cowards they are. I think the way some of your news coverage is presented acts as a recruiting tool in the distorted way al qaeda encourages young ,easily influenced men and possible women and children to seek ways to kill and maime innocent people.

In the context of this story, why did you not mention the American Christmas-eve drone strikes (sanctioned by the Yemen government) at Al Qaeda in Yemen? This action supposedly killed suicide bombers and preempted attacks planned for Christmas day on the US and British embassies in Yemen.
