NBA suspends Arenas 'indefinitely' over gun incident
The NBA commissioner is coming down hard on Wizards star Gilbert Arenas. The league suspended him indefinitely without pay for bringing guns into the locker room.
It willl cost Arenas $147,000 for each game he misses. He's also under investigation and could face charges.
Is that enough to get the players' attention? We discussed the matter on Thursday's American Morning with "In Session" host and sports attorney Ryan Smith.

It's about time athlete's intelligence and responsibility started to increase and to match their egos and inflated salaries. When an athlete gets as much for one game as a professor or school teacher gets for 2-3 YEARS of teaching there is something wrong.

I thought the 2nd amendment was for all citizens of this country. He should have not stored them at the arena but the punishment is too harsh for the infraction. When will common sense return to the debate?
