Coast Guard's role in relief efforts

The U.S. Coast Guard was among the first American responders to bring help to the Haitian people. The coast guard now has a number of ships and aircraft there to help with the response. What happened to the amputant children.
The world will never forget Haitï if CNN focus on it. We can continue to donate but to whom. The world populations had no confidence to different organizations , simply because they will forget this disastrous country. Heart-break ... i have never seen such a disastrous country like that... We must donate for ever and ever to rebuild such a country where people are suffering...Thanks a lot for donors...

Thanks a lot for the help of the American people in helping Haiti.
But now the situation is catastrophe because of raining season. Tents are not waterproof . Water comes inside the tents and people cannot have a life. They are not sheltered yet and moreover floods can kill many peoples.

Situation need emergency to shelter Haitiens. To rebuild Haiti will take time but what will happened to such a disastrous country.

The situation is dramatic and catastrophic. Urgent needs fare essential. The world will never forget Haiti if the CNN always focus on it.
I would like to know how the people will be protected from the bad season . Heart Break for these courageous people. Please help. The world will never forget... if CNN always focus on it i repeat.

I have been glued to CNN since the earth quake! I am so proud of our Coast Guard and all our military. The USA has really stepped up as has other countries. It shows that all people around the world want to and can get along, help each other and work together. I pray for all of Haiti and all the people that went to help.
Just watching the news, I had a nightmare, first in many years as an adult. They will need our help for many years to come.
I noticed such patriotism and amaraderie in the US after 9/11 but within a year, it seems people forgot. I hope that doesn't happen with regards to Haiti.
Thank you to all our military!!!
