Haiti judge could rule in Americans' case

(CNN) - A Haitian judge could rule Thursday on whether to release 10 Americans detained in Port-au-Prince on child abduction charges, an attorney for one of the Americans said.

The judge has investigated the case against the group thoroughly, Hiram Sasser, director of the Liberty Legal Institute, told CNN's "American Morning," and the testimony of Haitians in the case "really exonerated Jim [Allen] and the others."

Allen is among 10 missionaries charged a week ago with kidnapping children and criminal association for trying to take 33 children out of Haiti without proper documentation following the January 12 magnitude-7.0 earthquake there.

His wife, Lisa Allen, said Thursday she has suffered "horrific anxiety" since the detentions. "I'm confident that the people of Haiti will do the right thing and bring Jim home," she said. FULL STORY

It would be a huge travesty of Haitian Justice for these 10 child kidnappers to simply be released after being charged with the heinous crime of kidnapping 30 Haitian children and attempting to smuggle them quickly across the border. Is this how far American Justice has sunk, to interfere with the legal proceedings in a foreign Justice System in order to free 10 criminals that appear to fully deserve long prison sentences?

The truth is that we have heard enough of the American kidnapers, lets get real. What has happened to CNN and the reporting of real news. Just lets us know either when the government of Haiti jails or frees these poor people. While in our back yard a 15 year old girl gets beaten, kicked and a bunch of people just look and you are asking your audience what do we think? Do we really want to hear about Edwards affair? Do we really care about Tiger's sex addiction? If you are the leader in news then start reporting like such.

"no criminal intent??' having a mother hand over her child then at the border claiming the child is an orphan shows no intent?? "its gods will??" gods will to remove a child from their mother??? they lied about their orphanage and their non profit status as well as the children all being "orphans"... these self righteous "do gooders" need to take a close look inside themselves because none of their actions reflect "gods will"
