Tehran, Iran (CNN) - Attacks and clashes were reported in Iran's capital Thursday as thousands of pro- and anti-government demonstrators took to the streets of Tehran to mark a key national anniversary.

Pro-government supporters filled Azadi, or Freedom, Square in central Tehran to hear President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad speak on the 31st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, which toppled a Western-backed monarch and transformed Iran into an Islamic republic.

In a speech that lasted more than an hour, Ahmadinejad confirmed that his country had now enriched uranium to 20 percent - sufficient, scientists say, to create a nuclear reaction.

He added that Iran is capable of enriching uranium up to 80 percent but won't. FULL STORY

This issue should be over because Obama gave a speech about it. What is wrong with Iran.....don't they see his star power or mabey they just somehow missed drinking the cool aid. They see in Obama a empty suit filled with weakness.

The problem is Iran having nuclear weapons and being able to hold the world hostage.
Clearly, Isreal and the US need to attack Iran in a united manner.
The Muslim world needs to feel America's might. Iran's nuclear sites will be contaminated and not likely to be rebuilt. Satelites will reveal any attempt to rebuild and all we do is repeat step 1.
The Iranian people may or may not reunite behind their evil government but that does not matter. We must keep our eye on the goal–elimination of the world nuclear threat–and we get the job done.
The price of inaction will far outway the danger posed by the status quo!!
Iran, like North Korea, cannot be trusted and the world is a fool to think other wise. Sanctions do not solve the problem, they only punish the populace.
