beck is a blithering idiot... just like palin Limbaugh and gw bush... he fits right in...
@Marion we never "averted the depression in the 20's" big business running wild caused the crash of 29 as did it in 2008/2009... repubs like to say "the market will correct its self", well it sure does... right out of our pockets into their own....if big business was a dinner guest... they would see the door quick with their lack of table manners and glutinous ways...

I watched this "madman" give a well researched history lesson that our current congressional leadership must have missed – and some of them were there when it happened! Go Glenn! Loved the statue of Liberty lesson too! Scare tactics? – talk is cheap. Go ahead and refute (with facts) anything he said.

What you reported is true, but you failed to report the real message. Glenn was giving a very good history lesson. It seems no one wants to report or even know the current proposals have been tried in the past and failed. The depression of 1920 was averted by cutting taxes and cutting the budget. FDR tried to spend our way out of the 1930s but it was WWII that lifted us out of that era. And as a final note, Glenn blasted the Democrats as socialists, big spenders, and anti business, in addition to blasting the republicans as big spenders.
