As usual the Republicans, funded by the health insurance industry, are trying to ensure that Americans cannot get affordable health care. I guess when you are wallowing in money, you just can't relate to everyday working families - if there are any left in the country that is.

So we will continue to fall prey to foreclosure of our homes due to health care bills, we will continue to die in ever increasing numbers because we cannot afford needed medical procedures, and we will continue to be bombarded by the lies coming from the Party of No and their campaign funders. The worst part is that the majority of Americans cannot recognize the industry and right-wing propaganda for what it is.

I am a school nurse at an elementary school in Mt. Vernon, IN that will be closing at the end of this school year due to state budget cuts to education. Needless to say, the staff and students are devastated by this decision. The majority of the students will be redistricted to another elementary school which means the class sizes will double and many teachers and support staff will lose their jobs.

I don't understand how the federal government can tout the importance of increasing educational funds to improve the U.S.'s overall educational standing in the world while the states are slashing millions from education. Our country's future is our children-right now that future is looking very dismal.
