U.S.-born al Qaeda spokesman arrested?

(CNN) – There are conflicting reports about the possible arrest of an American-born al Qaeda spokesman. Pakistani government officials say they have captured Adam Gadahn.

His arrest comes just hours after Islamist Web sites posted video of him praising the November massacre at Fort Hood. But some U.S. sources are questioning the reports. CNN national security analyst Peter Bergen joined us on Monday's American Morning to discuss the significance of the possible arrest.

I agree partially with both. Give him a trial – then put a bullet in his head – after you cut it off with a knife. It's better than he deserves.

I disagree, we should just release him like we did all those guys from gitmo. It worked out so well with them, only a few of them became suicide bombers as soon as they got out. Whats a few dozen innocent lives compaired to the freedom of terrorists? Thank goodness for organizations like Amnesty International who make it possible for terrorists to go free and kill more people.

    Ron,
I disagree with ya, at least in part. This is war and we need to give them military justice, which is what the Geneva convention calls for. However, this person should not be brought back to the States.

Right now there seems to be some confusion as to if this nut was captured or not. However, if so, DO NOT bring him back here! I am so fed up with everyone promoting their "cause" that these "animals" deserve legal justice! STUPID, STUPID. When caught, take them, SOMEWHERE, put a bullet in their head, and put in an unmarked grave to be forgotten! That is the ONLY justice these degenerate, religious zealots deserve!
