"The Teaser” is a preview of the guests we have lined up for the next day – so that you know when to tune in (and when to set your alarm!). Guests and times are always subject to change.
Here’s the lineup for tomorrow:
6:30AM: Handout or helping hand? Do unemployment checks discourage people from finding work? What if the checks keep rolling in for nearly two years? You’re paying $10 billion a month to finance it, this morning we’re asking Peter Morici and Christine Romans if it’s worth it.
7:10AM: Women – new targets for terror recruitment? Joining us to discuss the arrest of “Jihad Jane” is Karen Greenberg, Director of the NYU Center on Law and Security and Former FBI Assistant Director Thomas Fuentes.
7:30AM: First there were Rep. Charlie Rangel’s tax problems, now there are reports that resigned Rep. Eric Massa is under investigation for groping multiple male staffers. Nancy Pelosi promised a clean House, so how will these latest allegations impact the Democratic Party? Craig Crawford from CQ and Chris Cillizza from the Washington Post join us to discuss.
8:30AM: Former Tonight Show host Conan O’Brien has hundreds of thousands of Twitter followers, but he himself is only following one person: Sarah Killen, a 19-year-old student from Michigan. With his pick – she jumped from 3 followers, to close to 20,000. She’ll tell us why she thinks she was chosen, and what she’s done with the spotlight.

With all the finger pointing in the Democratic Party, how will (or did she and I missed it) Nancy explain or justify her $80,000.00 trip at taxayers expense???
I like Peter Morici says real truth and that means real solutions. Those that need unemployment should get it but, what about people who fields are hiring i.e. the Medical Fields College graduates are at 4%-5%. If the we are using less fuel and saving more the Trade Debt should be more balanced. just for info On Cspan one person said that our bank is the only business that creates more money. So more money is created and that with all the jobs and people buy home the economy would create enough money to offset the Trade Debt.
I am highly insulted by the comments of Peter Morici. He is a prime example of a so-called expert with no experience with conditions which he has claimed expertise. It is pure arrogance and insensitivity for a man with a tenured position at an elite university to assert that people on unemployment is for people who do not want to work.
I have been unemployed for more than a year. I have three children, a mortgage, insurance, etc. Without unemployment I would be homeless. I have exhausted my savings and turned in resumes for every position I could find.
Mr. Morici is a prime example of the elitist thinking that has continually led to an extreme sense of entitlement by the highly educated and the wealthy.
CNN should stop giving a platform to people who have no connection to the masses of the American people, who are struggling. Mr. Morici may have the credentials may make him look like an expert on how economic policy effects the average American – but I assure you he is a farce and an insult.
