A man who made some big bets with the pension fund for 300-thousand state employees is buying up everything from TV stations to a busted airline – and building a mini empire. It's happening down in Alabama and our Tom Foreman has the story.

PLEASE MOVE ON regarding Tiger Woods. If Mrs. Woods can resolve the matter in a meaningful way for her family. The rest of America need not be concerned. The same for the Edwards.
The media is allowing the sins of the father tocome the nighmare of the Woods and Edwards children. They have been outed move on.
Despite working in the media world, reporters would desire some degree of privacy after exposure to either heal their family or to move on. We in America spend too much time in the bedrooms of others.
America spends billions to improve the lifestyles/health care of citizens of other countries. We do so under the name of government stablization. However we are unwilling to provide the same benifits to many AMERICAN CITIZENS who are: (1) Part of the tax pool that pay for the services provided to other countries. (2) The body of individuals that makeup "the we the people" of the United States of America. The health care coverage will reduce the cost of emergency care covered by Staes and Counties. YES I have excellent medical, dental, and vision care. We are more concerned about the children of foreign countries than we are about American children. Let's get real elected officials represent the people of America not just special interest groups.
