Toyota claims car software is 'bug free'

(CNN) – It's a burning question Toyota can't seem to escape: is it an electronic problem that's causing their cars to accelerate out of control?

The automaker denies it. Of course, if electronics are to blame, it could cost Toyota billions to repair every recalled vehicle. Our Deb Feyerick reports on the challenge of getting to the bottom of the sudden acceleration issue.

Why is John giving the impression that the Democrats created this atmosphere of HATE. Come on CNN – I know John is a right winger but let's practice honest reporting here. The Republicans have fostered hate and relied on racism for decades and the election of a Black president made them think that they could benefit from it even more. Don't make it sound that both sides are equally responsible.

I expect truthful reporting from CNN

As programmer, I dispute the claim by Toyota that there software is "bug-free" as that is just not possible. It seems more likely that the staggering amount of money they will potentially lose is the driving factor. Once again, corporate greed, coupled with a culture that cannot afford to lose face, is creating a very dangerous situation.
Toyota, business may, indeed, be war but even warriors do NOT kill civilians and non-combatants. It is not honorable.

Health care/insurance reform has been needed and attempted several times in the past century. Pres. G.W. Bush had a Republican majority in the Senate and the House as well as a surplus in the budget. Why didn't the Republicans take care of this issue at that time? At least then, they could've done it the way THEY wanted. They made a mess of things, spent all the money and now they're fiscally conservative....yeah right!!!
