(CNN) – When you think of China, you may think of their economic force: bustling cities, manufacturing mecca.
But in more remote locations, like the Sichuan Province, people there can only hope to live like Americans some day. As John Vause shows us, China is rising, but not without growing pains.


What an outrage! Denying a senior the right to participate in her graduation ceremonies because she overslept once, and was honest about it, ranks right up there with expelling a first grader for having a nail clipper in school, or because he hugged a little girl on the playground.
If Wausaukee, WI were closer to Maine, I'd go picket the school board for Sam's right to accept her diploma with Honors publically.
