How refreshing to have someone who doesn't do things solely based on some nametag. I know that there are just as many republicans who should be voted out along with the majority of dems. I'm just hoping that the bad ones get voted out in primaries so responsible candidates can be nominated.

The Tea party is a suburban and rural group, mostly all white, and not found in areas that support mixed ethnic/racial populations and more liberal candidates, so it would not be a surprise for them to support a conservative democrat who is really like a moderate republican anyway. Plus it's a way for them to say see, we are not owned by the Republican party even though a vast majority of their endorsements will be for far right republicans. A real surprise will be when they endorse Barney Frank.
