(CNN) - Fifteen years ago, a bomb ripped through a federal building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in the worst homegrown terrorist attack on U.S. soil.
The April 19, 1995, attack killed 168 people, shattering the notion that America was largely immune to domestic terrorism.
On Monday, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano traveled to to Oklahoma City to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the bombing. She joined survivors, local officials and others at a memorial ceremony, standing in silence for 168 seconds representing the number of dead.
In a poignant moment, the names of each of the victims were later read aloud by relatives and colleagues, with speakers referring to their mothers, grandparents and others who died in the bombing. FULL STORY

I experienced foreign language syndrome when I was six years old but did not know that's what it was. After experiencing severe headache and dizziness while coming from school I became very very sick. When I recovered I spoke as if I was European for over a year and then my Jamaican accent suddenly returned. I have told this to friends many times and they looked at me as if i was crazy. I found it strange for years until two years ago when I realized this phenomenon had a name.
The words we use may have far reaching consequences that we do not realize at the time we use them. As I read and listen to the public discourse of today I remember the sage advice of my grandfather. "Don't be easily lead" and "Some people would lie, when the truth would fit better". I too long for what seemed like a simpler time of my youth, but when I think about the consequences of that time I realize there was a price to pay for living in that time that I have forgotten about.
Its probably going to happen again because of the right, and the lies of the Republican party. They are starting the lies again over the bank reform bill.
Why doesn't the French, and the British make people that are coming to the U.S. take faries.
As the right wing fringe spokespeople urge their followers toward violence with lies and misinformation, and the Republican leadership says silent, we should remember the famous quote by Edmund Burke; “All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing”
