Minn. father, son refuse chemo treatments
(CNN) – There's an update on the Minnesota couple caught up in a court drama for refusing to treat their son's cancer with chemotherapy. The teenager's father is now facing his own battle with the disease and says he has no intention using chemo. Our Jason Carroll talked to the family about their controversial decision.

What contreversy? I may not agree with his decision, but that's the right we have in america and I support that 10000%. I'm tired of people thinking they have the right to tell others how to live...but I also expect that the people who demand that right to take full responsibility as well
Looking at the video, these folks have very low IQs, and would seem incapable of understanding the need for chemo. For them to brainwash the son into thinking that they green sludge the mother cooked up, made a difference, is insane. As I said, a lack of education/intelligence is a curse!
I fully support these guys, good for them. I am sad for the rest of america that has such faith in the medical profession. Chemo is barbaric and all about money. There are much better ways of treating cancer that people dont make so much money off of. This is not suicide or murder, there are plenty of other more effective, easier on the body ways of treating cancer. The medical profession thanks you for your ignorance. Most people never even hear about their alternative options, its chemo or die, and sadly, many die or have severe life long health issues, or simply get cancer again.
Shouldn't it be a crime to insist anyone continue costly chemotherapy treatments when it only has a 3% success rate? Even the American Cancer Society acknowledges other therapies if you dig far enough into their website!
Moreover, since cancer feeds on sugar and can't really survive in an alkaline/oxygenated environment (the media & physicians fail to discuss these scientific facts) – – why don't we make it a crime to force patients to take deadly chemo treatments??
What is wrong with these people. It can't be any worse than dying.????
What this man is doing to himself is suicide but what he is doing to his son is murder .
