Now look at all that oil spewing out, from 1 rig out of how many in the gulf? So my question is how come everyone says there is an oil shortage, this is one well spewing all this oil, do not tell us there is a shortage at all, just ways for governments to get rich

I just heard Mayor of Pencicola say he is having to wait and wait for BP to respond to a request for some needs while oil approaches. Why isn't there a Fed Hotline for all Coastal Mayors to get needs addressed and why the heck is BP approving anything – this should be the Fed and only the Fed. CRAZY!!!

I saw the idea of spaghnum peat moss presented on CNN (in ideas from viewers,I think-there was a demo)
as a way to naturally soak up the oil and one that would not have any derogatory effects on the environment at the same time. Why is this not being considered instead of the sand berms.

There is only one way Americans can fight back, and that is to boycott BP.

I dont get this spill..I mean attach a hose to the well and run it to a boat....fill other boats. Simple temp fix. Who cares if you spill some at this point as long as you catch what you can while making a more permanent repair. The damage is done . Lets recycle that oil and open the spill to any company that wants the oil.

It is so sad to see those birds covered in oil. The President getting "furious" is not going to help. We need action and clean-up.

I wish everyone would stop calling this BP disaster an "oil spill" because it is not a spill at all, it is a man-made gusher that we can't
    seem to stop !!!

Now if we only close our borders. That would be a good thing.

Has anybody asked, or does anybody know, how much oil is actually in that well/reservoir?
