Van der Sloot confesses to murder, Peruvian police say

Lima, Peru (CNN) – Joran van der Sloot could be formally charged as early as Tuesday in the killing of Stephany Flores Ramirez, Peruvian government authorities said.

The government authorities said Van der Sloot confessed to murder late Monday. He will likely be held at one of three maximum security prisons - Castro Castro, Piedras Gordas and Lurigancho, authorities said.

everyone who has watched the oil disaster in the gulf has an opinion as what the federal govement should do. my thinking may be different from some but i feel the president should be trying to aide B.P. in whatever they can instead of constantly trying to find fault. two much energy is being spent on photo ops than trying to help fix the problem.trying to look presidential at this time is a disservice to americans. he certainly has outdone Jesse jackson in camera hogging.

Perhaps the Bush-Cheney Halliburton torture team should go to Peru and gather some notes on the interrogation used on Van der Sloot, it seems from their past inexperience they didn't have a clue but they soaked the American taxpayers for enormous amounts of money per failed session anyway, go figure!

I am little confused, didn't Stephany's brother stated that she already knew about the allegations against Van der Sloot. He stated they had discussed it. He is just a cold-blooded serial killer.
