Exclusive: John Roberts tours BP's 'kill well' rig

(CNN) – We have seen the pictures from the ocean floor of the underwater volcano of oil erupting for 52 days now. But you may not know what's going on at the surface to stop this leak. It is incredible, unprecedented, very risky – and it has to work.

Our John Roberts saw the effort with his own eyes yesterday when he went out to ground zero, 40 miles off shore, with the man in charge of this effort, BP Chief Operating Officer for Exploration and Production Doug Suttles.

An army of oil workers, many who live along the coast they're working to save, are trying to hit something smaller than a basketball hoop five miles down and on the first shot. It's the closest BP has allowed anyone to get to their operations to kill the well. It's something only seen on American Morning.

This is all good but what if the relief well dosnt work instead of waiting for the last minute they need to be getting ready for the worst by hiring on company's such as Super Suckers to start skimming the ocean and making back up plans for a global desaster .

This situation can be compare to the situation of the medical field and the industry to a procedure of CCSVI. How can the procedure be denied to Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Patients. Why deny a procedure that has being long done to non MS Patients? A clear call of the international organization on health is needed. Each party does not understand and this shows a clear lack of communication within each part of the equation. Multiple Sclerosis affects 250,000 to 350,000 American and Multiple Sclerosis: Affects 2.5 Million Persons Worldwide.

I think that each party does not understand and this shows a clear lack of communication within each part. The fact is that nothing was done to avoid this situation and nothing is being done yet to stop the oil and the spill continues. There is a lot at stake.

What a bunch of crock, John Roberts. You have allowed yourself and CNN to be used by BP's PR spin machinge to tell their lies. If I had not seen you on the report, I would have thought it was an infomercial for BP. Was this the price you had to pay to gain access to the drill site since BP and the government is preventing the "real " press from flying out to the site. You have pimped yourself and the tarnish to your reputation and CNN is as black and devastating as the oil spill itself.
And you do this on the same day as your network reports on the oil reaching Perdido Bay and Organge Beach. Shame on you and shame on CNN for becoming the voice of BP.
