(CNN) – Scientists are getting closer to unlocking one of the world's biggest genetic mysteries: Why do some people live so much longer than others? The latest research is coming from a team at Boston University. Dr. Thomas Perls, associate professor of medicine and geriatrics at BU's School of Medicine, joined us on Tuesday's American Morning to discuss the secrets to being a centenarian. Watch Video

    In Sacramento, CA there is a Woman who is 113 Years Old and she walks, clear minded and eats everyday foods. Her enjoys everyone and is as cute as pie. Her name is Mother Ruby Mohammad, formerly Ruby Macie Greyor and she lives in a senior living apartment complex. She is a true delight and a joy to be around. She was born in Sandersville, Washington County, Georgia on March 20, 1897 and she can tell to the exact detail about her life, she was worked as a nurse-maid to President Jimmy Carter on two of his Father's Plantation's in Americus, Sumter County, Georgia. Talking with her is like a walk into the history books and a window into the past.
