soundoff (One Response)
  1. Don Straub-Euclid, Ohio

Yesterday Barack Obama met with Benjamin Netanyahu. I was encouraged by their expressions of solidarity at the news conference that was held. There have been some bumpy times as of late.
Looming over U.S.-Israeli relations is the upcoming end to the moratorium on construction in Judea and Samaria. Many within Israel are intent on the resumption of building. Renewed building could trigger a new crisis in relations.
Perhaps some sort of compromise can be found. After the good will expressed yesterday, I hope our nations can remain close allies.
