Islam's "virtual battle"

A group of young and tech-savvy moderate Muslims are trying to turn the tide against the growing number of radical messages online. It's an uphill trek but one they say has to be done. CNN's Deb Feyerick tracks Islam's virtual battle.

ALL Muslims are terrorists, so then ALL terrorists are Muslims! Now while I personally do not beleive this is true, the problem is that due to the 99% negativity from news, TV, etc., is why ALL Muslims have been tossed into one catagory. Also, for me, is the fact that too many of the, hi up Muslim religious leaders, say that Jihad and killing all the infidels is in the Koran? If this is in fact true then I would have a hard problem in trusting any Muslim. However, if other Muslim leaders say this is not true then, seeing Muslims suffer, all over the world, why would they not be screaming, yelling, demanding TV time to expalin what the Muslim religion says? This is a start, but many, many more need to stand up and denounce terrorist actions and that it is not the true Muslim religion. Should they have to do this? NO, Do they need to do this? YES, and the sooner the better.

The Muslims have made there own bed and Americans fear them as a cold blooded people but they are making efforts to change this image which is good you be our friends and we will be yours but trust has to be earned not forced .

It's nice to see this article, although the video has been out for several weeks. We are trying to counter the self-styled jihadists and we are trying to make a positive impact in our communities and nations. Keep covering stories like this so people understand Muslims are not a fifth column nor are they tacitly approving of extremist behaviors. Ma'asalama.
