My daughter along with my ex-inlaws have lived in the area that was efeected by Katrina and one of the biggest complaints that you don't hear anything about concerns the individuals that had built their houses below sea level before Katrina. These houses would flood after a small sprinkle if they weren't already flooded. From their neighbor moving around brush. These were the individuals to return home when they were informed that they would recieve benefits to rebuild their homes. This type of waste took place everywhere and then there was the problem with the insurance companies telling the home owners that they had flood insurance but not hurricane insurance and vica versa keepping them from getting their money without having to take their insurance companies to court.
