    The net hasn't literally killed the music industry, and it probably won't. It's just drastically changed the industry.

    While ebooks may be the wave of the future, paper is a very versatile and useful technology. Chances are that used book stores, at the very least will continue to thrive and, worst case scenario, collecting books will become as popular as collecting vinyl records.
