In response to the piece about Tony Danza you aired today: "Go Tony!" I believe that improving our nation's educational system should be a top priority for all of us.
I am a product of the revitalization of our educational system that took place in the1950's – a response to Russia's Sputnik launch. I am a successful Registered Engineer and am devoting as much of my time as possible to teach in a public school.setting.
I was honored last year to be named the 'Volunteer of the Year' for Broward County Fl. I am doing this because I have been successful in my career and I want to put something back into the system – for the next generation.
Has CNN considered airing a series of broadcasts designed to encourage more volunteers like myself to come forward?
