The Tea Party is one of the breakout stories of this year's upcoming midterm elections. One reporter conducted six month study on the Tea Party to get a sense of what the movement really looks like in detail. CNN's Kiran Chetry talks to Washington Post reporter Amy Gardner about her findings.

My problem with the party is a lack of coherent plan. It's easy to whine, complain and wish for a better system but when asked the tough questions I don't see Tea Party members coming up with real answers. When faced with real dilemmas, you can't just hide away from the world, you have to make real choices. Even though I disagree with their approach at least mainstream Republicans have a certain plan they want to go for. I think it's a crazy plan, but unlike Tea Party members at least they're pretty concise about their plans.
