Meek: “Governor Crist talked to me about getting out of the race”

Senate democratic candidate Kendrick Meek responds this morning to reports that Former President Clinton tried to broker a deal for the democratic senator to drop out of the race and throw his support behind his rival Independent candidate Charlie Crist.

Meek set the record straight on this morning's American Morning:

“A, President Clinton never asked me to get out. B, Charlie Crist needs to run his own campaign,” Meek said.

Poor Demos, trying to get independents elected since their candidates cannot do the job on their own.

Facinating that Donna Braizile said the following about Kendrick Meek being asked by Charlie Crist to drop out.

She said that he should stay in the race because "We don't know what else might drop out of the newspapers, the headlines, or THE CLOSET over the next couple days."

Is this a shot across Crist's bow by Braizile?

Of course the Democrats (like the Republicans) will do ANYTHING to get their "people" elected and of course they'll deny everything. It's what they do. They are politicians. Politicians lie through their teeth. It's what politicians do. Clinton and Obama both of a history of lying.
