Steele: Republicans in shadows need to 'shut up,' focus on tomorrow

One day 'til midterm elections.

How are the Republicans preparing in the final hours?

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele tells American Morning’s John Roberts that Republicans need to focus on winning elections tomorrow night–not on 2012, and whether Sarah Palin will run for President.

"Let’s stop the Washington-inside games. No one cares about that," Steele told Roberts. "Help us make phone calls. Help us dial in the districts around the country so we can turn out our vote. That’s what these folks should be doing right now, not focusing on Sarah Palin. Cause Sarah Palin doesn’t focus on Sarah Palin, she’s focused on winning elections and seats tomorrow night."

The Democratic party is the party of stagnation, strangulation, and decay. They are leading America in the wrong direction, and even though they will likely lose a substantial portion of their power tonite, it will take decades, if ever, to recover from it. The Republican party, however, is the party of pure evil, bigotry, racism, and theo-fascist wannabes. They would lead America to nearly instant destruction.

Given a choice between a socialist, even a Marxist, and a religious nutjob like Palin or O'Donnell, the socialist is by far the lesser of the two evils. Once upon a time, the tea party movement had people who stood soundly against both of these bad choices, but although there may be one or two sane candidates left over there, that time is long gone. When vile harpies like Palin and O'Donnell are the face of the tea party movement, that movement is deceased. Mourn for an American generation lost, as Japan lost a generation in the 90s.

Brilliant move on Steele's part. He knows he will face a challenge to continue as GOP Chair, and he is aligning himself with Palin and "The People" against the Republican (establishment) opponent he will face. This is another sign of the splintering of the Republican party, as the Republican establishment seeks to contain the tempest they have summoned.

Michael Steele is a traitor to his race and to the Republican Party. How could someone so devoid of rationality and objectivity have risen to these ranks? If he were a real thinker, he wouldn't have supported someone who would cut him down as soon look at him. Palin is a racist and I am surprised that Mr. Steele continues to support her and the likes of imbicile women running in this election. Do you, Mr. Steele, know about or have read anything by Ayn Rand??? You must be in the same ranks as Clarence Thomas who denegrates his history and rose to power by being a fraud. As a former Republican, I say "thanks but no thanks."
