Anderson: Part of Vick's rehabilitation is owning dog

Former Atlanta Falcon's running back Jamal Anderson was on American Morning today and discussed with Kiran why he thought owning a dog would be beneficial to Michael Vick's rehabilitation.

Vick made news recently after he said that he would be interested in owning a dog in the future even though he is legally prohibited from doing so.

I think that Michael Vick is one of the most disgusting and inhumane people to ever walk the earth. I am not only a pit bull owner, but I spend countless hours with these special dogs at my local animal shelter. With the way that the American public is okay with treating animals it is no surprise that there is so much child and animal cruelty. I like how it's not okay to waterboard terrorists but it's perfectly fine for Vick to drown a helpless animal for not being aggressive. Also Vick got a slap on the wrist while one of the dogs (the ones that survived his ownership) had to be euthanized for what HE did to it. Yeah let him have a dog, let him play football, and give him a couple more million dollars. GO RON MEXICO #7!

I;m a fan of Micheal Vick, but I think he should start off with a turtle or a fish tank. Has he considered owning a cat? That might be a safer bet for him.
