Rep. Cantor: Health care will "bankrupt the government"

Representative Eric Cantor, Republican of Virginia, took his new position yesterday as the majority leader in House of Representatives and he hasn't taken any time to make his party's position on President Obama's health care reform clear. Cantor tells Kiran Chetry that unless something is done the health care bill could potentially bankrupt the federal and state governments.

It's Republican fear mongering that's bankrupting America and there are plenty of Democrats playing along putting the interests of lobbyists in the healthcare industry ahead of the needs of the American people..

The OMB has already given their statement on health care and Mr. Cantor prefers to spew ignorant fear based propaganda in direct opposition to the OMB's findings.

These hypocrites Democrats and Republicans alike, can't scream about the rising deficits and defend tax cuts for the uber rich rich at the same time.

The truth is the Republican leadership in congress puts their party before the country and their duty to the American people. It is shameful and repulsive to watch Republicans vote in unison time and time again against bills 911 first responders health and compensation act.

It's time to look at the facts and quit listening to lying politicians. Cut our bloated military that is sucking our country dry, end the unpaid for Bush tax cuts, and bring the troops home from wars that tarnish the image of our wonderful democracy.

    Wake up America!

Why doesn't the House first deliver a new and better Health Reform Bill. If that Bill is better, I would think it should be easier to repeal the existing Health Reform Law. I have a hard time supporting a repeal when I have no idea with what it would be replaced.

In typical republican fashion, he ignores the evidence that he is absolutely wrong and continues to spout his lies.
